LV23 initially started out as a series of hand panted t-shirt in Sasha’s bedroom. The LV23 brand was inspired by Sasha’s Haitian grandmother that had a frequent saying “La Vie en rose” which meant living life thru colored glasses. Since then the designer has applied that theory to her outlook on life, and has relayed that message through fashion. In 2005, Sasha went public with her designs that have been featured in multiple national ads and celebrities like R&B Singer, Mya.
The collection is the newest addition of a fashion/media sub-corporation. The sibling companies are ran largely, autonomously. The other brands fall underneath the Sasha conglomerate, which includes an accessory line; Duct tape and Diamonds, and web-based design/Branding company; Dunstr.
